What to watch for in this direction
Opposite word order delays the sentence
English runs subject–verb–object; Japanese puts the verb last. The model needs the shape of the whole sentence before it can produce natural Japanese, so long sentences show a longer lag than short ones. Breaking them up makes a visible difference for the Japanese side.
Technical terms: katakana or the English word
Words like commit, deploy, and onboarding are often spoken in English on Japanese engineering teams, and just as often written in katakana. Mixing both forms inside one meeting distracts the reader. Register whichever your team uses.
From a language without honorifics into one with them
English uses one you for everyone; Japanese has to pick a register. The default is teineigo, which suits most meetings and talks. For a formal client proposal, it is worth having the Japanese side review the wording of the key passages first.

Can we use it for an all-hands?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses. Tab audio captures an online meeting without changing the meeting settings or asking the host to do anything.
How many points does an hour cost?
Live translation runs one point per minute, so about 60 points an hour. If you only need the English transcript, transcript-only mode lasts four times longer — roughly 15 points an hour.
Can we hide the English line?
Yes — the original line can be turned off so only the translation shows. When projecting to a room, hiding it makes the text larger and easier to read.
